About

I got my start as a kid, making miniature houses, furniture, clothing, streets, and landscaping out of bits of cardboard and stuff I found around the neighborhood.   A sand pile my dad intended for his patio turned into my Troll community.  Wars were waged against my brother’s army men.

I scavenged materials from junkyards and flea markets to build models of theatrical sets and costumes.  And served time behind a sewing machine to earn some money assembling outfits for a costume company.  These skills came in handy later when I was pressed to turn old sheets and scrap fabric into last minute Halloween costumes for family and friends.

There are lots of creative people out there.  I’m going to learn from them and share their stories with you.
